    Course Description: This course introduces and acquaints the student with various aspects of art, including the artists themselves, the different mediums they created and worked in, and the techniques involved. Students will learn about the nature of art and its relevance to daily life.

  • ART 101 Art History I 

    Course Description: This course  is a survey of art history from the prehistoric era to around 1400 CE. Students can expect an emphasis on stylistic analysis with historical, cultural and global contexts.

  • ART 102 Art History II  

    Course Description: This course  is a survey of art history from around 1400 CE. Students can expect an emphasis on stylistic analysis with historical, cultural and global contexts.

  • MUS 110  Music of the World 

    Course Description: This course will cover the global history of music from its origins to the present day. Emphasis will be placed upon the perspective of stylistic and cultural contexts, emphasizing the development of listening, score reading, stylistic analysis, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Topics covered include basic production, audio systems equipment, camera techniques, lighting and video switching, master control, editing/rendering, and studio/field operations.
